Description: This lamp is comprised of (12) 8mm Superbright Strawhat LEDs rated at 3.6v / 100 mA each, and are wired in 4 parallel strips of 3 LEDs in series with 10 ohms impedence on the ground legs. The frosted highball glass diffuses the light nicely, and the LEDs are set at varying angles in a reflective plastic cup. The base is made from PVC, everything except the LEDs was purchased at junk stores. As all of my lights are designed, the energy consumed (12.6v / 320 mA) is set to be replenished by solar, this time, using (2) Sunforce 1.8 watt / 12v amorphous panels, sold at Canadian Tire ($10 on sale, each) as battery maintainers.
