Led lights stay on when plugged into The Clapper?
I bought The Clapper for my dorm room. It works. However, I plugged in a string of LED Christmas lights into it, and when the Clapper is off, the LEDs still glow a little bit. Has anyone had a similar experience, or know a solution?

- The Clapper uses a semiconductor switch (SCR) to control the power. There must be a low level current leakage through it when in the off mode. With ordinary lamps, this is of no consequences. But, the LEDs draw only a small amount of power, and are sensitive to small switch leakages. One solution is to add an additional beefier load besides the Christmas lights. Even an AC adapter or incandescent night light should do.
