Where can i find LED lighting for my home? I am remodeling my home and would like to use led lighting in as many places as possible but it seems like the only led lighting available at this time is just accent lighting.Does anyone know of a website that has LED lighting for the home as a main source? I know its expensive but do you know where i can get exact pricing?What kind of bulbs do power compact lighting use?
Will LED lights supplant compact fluorescents in home lighting applications? In flashlights they make an incredible amount of light per battery, are very bright, and last about forever. Are they being adapted to use as household lighting? If so, when will they become widely available? Are they more efficient than and less polluting (mercury, manufacturing waste etc?) than CF's?

Led Home Lighting,a Friend who needs to finish his project.Pls advice.? I have a classmate who is graduated from the civil engineering specialty, recently received a project, in need of repair on some families' house in their village, which involves a problem that he should decide the led home lighting's choose and buy. We have find the suppliers before, but don't feel very satisfied, then we also search on the net . As I am not very familiar with the led home lighting, so want to please each ace could comment on it, how do you think this site, whether suitable to put in some houses. How do you make at home LED light sticks and how to get the materials? Needed: Clear Plastic (preferably acrylic if possible) Tubes with Medium-Thin Walls One-End Cap Seal (preferably clear) Light Emitting Diodes (which is better? charge pump or boost) is it best to get RGB? We think hanging caps are best but we want an outside opinion. Lanyards we should be able to find easily. Thank you, if you can help. :) I'm trying to make a LED stick for a concert. Options for home lighting (LED Maybe?) + Automation? Okay, let's see if I can keep this as clear as possible. I recently moved into an Apartment and noticed it had no lighting at all, except in the kitchen. My living room/bed room doesn't have any ceiling lights. I thought about purchasing a cheap ceiling light, but I would have to run a tacky cord up the wall, and deal with issues such as trying to hide the cord. I can do better than that. So the only option I can think of is having battery operated lights, that I'm assuming have a sticky side? (I've never bought any type of lighting in my life). Also, I've always lived with my Grandma so all her lights have this yellowish glow to it. When you pass cars on the Highway, you can tell a car is newer, by it's headlights, they have this white/blue-ish glow, I'm guessing I want those. I want what ever is the "new" thing. I just don't know what my options are. Also, are there such thing as lights that go on the corners of the walls? I was thinking instead of one ceiling light, maybe 4 smaller ones that go into the corners. My room isn't that big (I live in an efficiency/studio Apartment), so that might work. After that's all sorted out, I'm going to install (hopefully), an automation protocol, such as X10 and see if I can control it with my phone (I've got Android OS). Thanks! LED home lighting power supply? I have recently acquired some 2.2w LED bayonet socket bulbs, I was going to buy a 12v DC power supply seeing as the data sheet calls for that. It does not specify the Amperage so i am assuming the bulb regulates its self, will I need to buy a supply that has a constant current or one that will provide the constant 12v required to run the LED bulbs? how should i wire them? In series/parallel? I have appx. 6 bulbs that I was wanting to make flexible piped lamps that came from either my wall or ceiling, all i need to know is parallel or series and whether or not i need a supply with a constant current or constant amperage
Steps to replace my home lights with LED based lights? Hi, I have mostly low lifespan GE 100w lights as well as Halogen lights that I would like to replace with LED lights. I would prefer direct replacements without changing fixtures. Thank you. :-) /CivilLizard Jason: I'm no in the US, was assuming an answer would include means of identifying the proper replacement for the Halogen lights I have as I'm assuming there's a difference in size and the size, voltage and cycles? :-) Oh well..
Have you tried those new LED light bulbs for home use? I see LED light bulbs for lamps, flood lights, and spot lights at home. Have you tried them and do you like them or not? They are pretty expensive yet and I still have all those curly flourscent bulbs everywhere. When the prices come down, I'm sure I'll switch to them.

Are there good stores in Colorado for home LED lights? I'm also looking for general info on LED lights; every online store seems to think lumens are subjective measurements. I'd like to find a place I can actually see the brightness (and color) before spending my paycheck on lighting in an effort to save money! Or an online store thats reputable, and has good prices! and Lowes/ Home Depot / Lighting stores on the front range don't have any!! I've checked. This is specific to LED screw in bulbs for a house.

Question about Halogen Lights and Home lighting Hello, I have replaced all of the halogen down lighters in my kitchen with LED lights that generate loads less power (my eco friendly self) but I have noticed that when I turn them off they stay on, very lightly lit. This didnt happen before with the halogens.I thought at first, as they are LED's, they would stay on for a bit but I came down this morning and they were still lightly lit. Is there power going through them all the time? Is my house wired wrong? If so why didnt the Halogens stay lit? Is it something to do with them needing less power? Any help would be greatly appreciated
LED lights for the home - help? I want to design cost effective lights for use on 50Hz 230V supply. Anyone give me an idea of how i should connect the LEDs arrays? question about led strip to home power? hi. I want to buy an LED light strip to put in my fish tank. (they are on ebay)... if i buy one without a plug on the end - with just 2 wires- how would i hook it up to home power? is it as simple as buying a plug from a hardware store and connecting the terminals? thank u
