Where can i find a job having to with lights and LED's? I make custom jobs having to with lights and LED's. What i make you can not find in stores. It is completely custom. In my past I have created dancefloors, stages, dj booth, and I can even decorate resturants and bars by putting lighting all around.I make residential and commercial jobs. I give 3 year warranty and once again any job having to do with LEDS or lighting. Where can i find a consistant job having to do with lights and LED's.
I Looking for a phone that will identify callers via a distinctive ring or LED light.? Cell phone are able to ID incoming calls. Is there a residential phone (corded or cordless) that will do the same? I am looking for more than caller ID. I am hoping to find a telephone model that allows you to identify who is calling via a digital voice, a distinctive ring or a light. Thanks for the responses. I am confused by Roger's reply that has a Uniden link when he states that Panasonic has the talking caller ID.
can i make my own bike light legally speaking? i got a ticket for biking on wrong side of road in a residential area the other day and am trying to bike more legally now. Sometimes i have to ride my bike and know that you need to have a light. I have a head lamp and it fits around the handlebars and has a good led light on the head lamp. will this get me out of a ticket. I really dont want to buy an expensive bike light because i hopefully will get my car back soon. thanks
Residential Electrical? I have a color changing LED night light that, once plugged in and the room is dark enough to activate the photo sensor, turns on then off(not flickering)at a constant rate. I have plugged in extras of the same version night light to the same outlet and gotten the same result--just to be sure I would then take those lights and plug them in elsewhere, into different outlets, and they work as they are supposed to. Obviously, the light is telling me something's wrong at the outlet, or is there something else I need to be concerned about? Thanks in advance.
Endangered scrub plants that grow in or near Panama City Beach Florida? There is a shrub that grows near Panama City Beach that smells so good. I would appreciate anyone's input. I don't know if it is endangered or not. Someone at Ace Hardware told me it was Texas Sage but off all the pictures I have looked at it does not appear to be what I am talking about. I even went to Zen Garden in Panama City and the lady there could not identify it. It has flat slim light green fuzz covered leaves and is very frangrant sorta minty/salty sea smell. I have been trying to find out what this is for two weeks. You can smell it in residential sections around Panama City and I found the actual bush growing near a boardwalk which led to the beach near a residential section just outside of Panama City Beach-past the State Park where there have been boardwalks built. Anyways he pulled me over and gave me a ticket for 24003 which is for INTERIOR LIGHTING as read here 24003. No vehicle shall be equipped with any lamp or illuminating device not required or permitted in this code, nor shall any lamp or illuminating device be mounted inside a vehicle unless specifically permitted by this code. This section does not apply to: (a) Interior lamps such as door, brake and instrument lamps, and map, dash, and dome lamps designed and used for the purpose of illuminating the interior of the vehicle. (b) Lamps needed in the operation or utilization of those vehicles mentioned in Section 25801, or vehicles used by public utilities in the repair or maintenance of their service, or used only for the illumination of cargo space of a vehicle while loading or unloading. (c) Warning lamps mounted inside an authorized emergency vehicle and meeting requirements established by the department. BUT 25400, states thats it is legal as read here: 25400. (a) Any vehicle may be equipped with a lamp or device on the exterior of the vehicle that emits a diffused nonglaring light of not more than 0.05 candela per square inch of area. (b) Any diffused nonglaring light shall not display red to the front, but may display other colors. A diffused nonglaring light shall not resemble nor be installed within 12 inches or in such position as to interfere with the visibility or effectiveness of any required lamp, reflector, or other device upon the vehicle. (c) A diffused nonglaring lamp or device, other than a display sign authorized by subdivision (d), shall be limited in size to an area of 720 square inches and where any lease, rental, or donation is involved the installation of the lamp or device shall be limited to those vehicles operated either primarily within business or residential districts or municipalities, or between business districts, residential districts, and municipalities in close proximity. Did I overreact by getting mad at my boyfriend or was I in the right? he told me he wanted to hang out tonight. he is staying at his cousins house which is 40 minutes away from my home. i agreed to hang out and then he tells me he's at his other cousins house and they are all drinking and partying and can i pick him up there instead. According to him it was "right around the corner" from his other cousins house where he was staying. Turns out according to my GPS right around the corner was an additional half hour making my ride 1:10 min. Gas is just about $4 dollars a gallon where I live, Im working part time and can barely make ends meet so for me to drive this distance is very generous. He told me he'd give me some gas money when i got there. Half way through my ride I realized I was heading towards the most rural area possible, there were no street lights, it was pitch black, residential roads with the houses miles apart and the roads were awful. When I got within a half mile of the address I called my boyfriend and said "I'm almost there maybe 1-2 minutes please be somewhere I can see you!" he said he would, then my phone lost service. i was on the road to where my gps led me, a dirt road that was pitch black and there were several mailboxes with dirt road driveways so long that you couldn't even see the homes and my boyfriend was nowhere in site! I waited and waited and then I left and had no GPS service and I was lost for 20 minutes. Finally I stopped and asked for directions home and he calls me 20 minutes after that and asks me why I went home!!!! He never stood outside like I had asked. There were signs saying private property do not enter and nothing but trees where i was. I told him I thought that it was ridiculous that I drove over an hour to come get him while he was drinking with his cousins and friends and he couldn't even walk to the road with a flashlight or get a ride to the burger king in town which was maybe 8 minutes from the home. Not to mention the girl he tried to cheat on me with is best friends with all of his cousins and I was still willing to come down there to get him. I broke up with him. I have no gas to get to work on Monday and drove 2:30 min roundtrip on a saturday night for nothing, while he sat around and drank and played party games. i told him he was an asshole and that he was inconsiderate. he thinks i am overreacting. whats your opinion on this situation?
Can you easily reduce your energy use painlessly and at modest upfront cost? The biggest bang for the buck is replacing incandescent lights with Compact fluorescent and/or LED (The color is now much better on CFL's and they have CFL dimmer bulbs. Use LED outside, they are incredibly low energy consumption but not the nicest color temperature to look at. If you have 20 light bulbs, on for many hours, just doing this could cut your bill in half. Energy Efficient Appliances: Old Refrigerators, Old TV's, Old Air Conditioners use a ton of power costing more over the long run than replacing them. The old refrigerator in the garage with a siz pack. Ouch. Costing a bundle. Better to get rid of it (sometimes your local power company will pick it up and pay you a rebate if you buy a new one. Get a used on on CL that's newer. Keep your refrigerator full, The power comes from cycling on and off and when there's cold food in there it stays cold longer and uses less power. Home insulation. Attic insulation. Wall insulation. Floor insulation. Weatherizing doors and windows. Caulking drafts. Of course new windows are more efficient and there have been some rebates but the rebates are disappearing. Insulate!!! That's not that expensive and pays back fast. Plug TY's and Stereos into power strips and turn them off when you're not in the room. Turn lights off when you leave the room or get motion sensor switches to do that automatically. Walk (better exercise than the gym) Ride your bike (get some sunshine when you exercise) Ride share (Spend more time with friends and co-workers in a relaxed environment and split cost of gas) Use public transportation (that's always and adventure in people watching and some buses hold bikes) Make your next car Smaller, a Hybrid, a Chevy Volt Solar Panels and Residential Wind turbines may cost less than you realize. Get a quote. Do some research on you tube and watch and hear others experiences to educate yourself. If you're serious get 3 quotes. Name some other ideas... this is a start...
My microwave was flickering yesterday but it still worked for me !? I unplugged it and took the cover off of it and re-plugged it in and now it does nothing. The surge protection fuse is still good. all the door interlock switches are good, but the front LED push button panel is out and now the whole thing does nothing. Even the inside light quit working. Its a GE sensor probe digital Residential counter style Microwave. I cant find the Wattage but it is a Model 1460 whatever that is. Is it fixable ? I see that it is possible that the circuit board in the front cover has a lot to do with the operation. Where is a schematic of that board. I have the whole micro wave schematic but it doesn't include the board just that it goes in and comes out. I am at hooyaaxx@msn.com if you can help. thanks
