two-circuit flexible track lighting? it should be dimable. lin.e voltage or low voltage
I'm looking for the old fashioned track lighting. The tracks attach to the ceiling at various intervals.? The lamps are twisted on and you can move them where you want them along the track. The ceiling electrical outlet in the breakfast room is in an odd location and I need a fixture that is flexible and I can have the light where I need it. To be precise, I need two lamps to highlight art on one wall, two lights for the opposite wall and one light down over the breakfast table. Is that too much to ask?
What would cause the transformer burn? I have a 12' low voltage flexible ceiling track lighting that maximum of 100 watt total (five 20w halogen was on the track) I installed it about four years ago, and last week the light doesn't come on, so I opened the transformer box and I saw the indication of the black burn mark. I just ordered similar kind and ready to install again. But before I do that I would like to confirm if there is anything I should know about. Any thoughts?
how to remove bulb? i have a flexible tracking light in my living room and one of the bulbs went off,my problem is,it is so hard to reach inside the body that holds the bulb, cant have a good grip of the bulb i can only touch the flat surface of the bulb and there is no way for me to get it off.....any suggestions?
Good track shoes for the mile? I recently started running the mile in track for my highschool. And I have nike air max running shoes. I would like to move up to some lighter more flexible shoes. Any suggestions. Preferably underarmour nike puma or addidas
I'm in the track team, high school sophomore, 1st time? I've always been a distance runner, so I joined the distance division in track. For the longest time ever, I've always trained myself to keep a steady fast pace to hold my endurance. Our coach is in charge of Sprints and Distance. Though, he himself is a GOOD sprinter. idk about his endurance During our practice this week though, he made us (distance runners) do repetitive sprints (longer meters compared to sprinters) pushing us to our limit along with the sprint runners. I was never used to exerting myself that much to a point where my thighs cramped up, got light headed, and threw up ( I was trying my best and i did stretch ). I'm not complaining, plus I wasn't the only one wiped out, but is this the proper way to train for distance running? He says that my body just needs to adjust to running so much, but his skills are very contradicting to the ACTUAL long distant running coach that comes to help sometimes(He says to not exert yourself too much if you can't handle it because it will lead to medical problems). In general, I'm trying to take different advices into consideration. I understand I need speed, but I also need to learn how to control it. Ever since track, I've been less flexible than usual. My body is definitely not used to this, but I don't know if that means I should stop running with this team, or not give up. and... Is me pushing myself to run as fast as possible proper training for distance? It's likely more counter-productive than productive.. but I could be wrong. Yeah, I know CrossCountry (Long Distance) - But that's during fall season.
Do you think solar panel roadways linked across the country could reverse the effects of global climate change My Idea for solving Hydrocarbon Problems My idea consists of creating an electrical system placed upon our nations highways in the form of an interconnected highly durable plastic solar panel system. Imagine if all of our roads were covered with such a system! Once manufactured, in the form of large and long plastic rolls, the system would make up the top layer of the roadway. Plastics are being developed now which can store charges (batteries), conduct electricity, produce light (flexible television screens), and I would not doubt- also provide magnetic properties. By adding silicon in different property levels of ionic charge distributions, according to the movement of electrons flowing from lower energy voids to higher, solar activation of propulsions would be easily achieved, stored, and be made available to all in need of energy supplies. Charge current could be supplied to moving vehicles as they travel and vehicles would never need to leave the road to charge. This could be achieved by proximity of tires to the road through conductive wires located within the tires or even by methods not easily explained other than in laymen's terms. There are methods of charging by magnetic proximity which would be enhanced due to movement. Advances in understanding the magnetic properties associated to moving aluminum allow the use of aluminum in products not to mention the use of plastics for lightweight materials of vehicles. Carbon fiber materials are perspective as well. All surfaces of vehicles, buildings, and walkways are possible locations for the development of solar power generating surfaces. The importance of developing systems which cover roadways are unlimited. The system should be developed with the perspective of controlling vehicles; propelling vehicles by magnetic pulse, future levitation of vehicles by mirror action magnetic repulsion now seen in superconductive materials, traffic control, and accident prevention. Tracking of all users as well as communication and information and data transfer should be implemented into the construction process. Management of surface durability and ice prevention are also benefits. The future of vehicle self-drive systems would be highly manageable due to the construction of these roadways as well as national security. As the use of liquid fuel engines would become obsolete in the near future, everyone on the roadways could be easily accounted for at all times.

Need some really light weight running/weight lifting shoes? I just ended my wrestling season and now I'm doing long distance for track. I am not going to compete in track, I'm just practicing with the team to stay in shape...waiting for my coach to start up free style. So I have been running and lifting weights in my old pair of wrestling shoes because I do not have running shoes. I like the fact that wrestling shoes are super light weights and flexible, but I hate that I can feel all the little rocks on the track. What are some good light weight shoes? I was thinking about getting the Nike free runs, anybody know if these shoes are good?
Guys: If you knew me would you go out with me? I have light blonde hair. I am skinny with strong arms and upper body strength. I have very flexible legs. I have bright blue eyes. I am 5 foot 6 inches. I am not that smart but I am really funny. I am athletic and involved in track, tennis, and volley ball. Would you go out with me? Describe yourself!
94 grand Cherokee has some "slop" in front end, any ideas? I have a 94 Grand Cherokee Laredeo, Staight 6, command track, newly rebuilt tranny, 165K. The problem is the jeep has a little slop in the front end pretty much through all driving speeds. The rims and tires are great and balanced. I recently replaced the front flexible brake lines because the abs light is on most of the time and the pads, rotors, and callipers look to be very good. While braking it sounds like the rear brakes need to be replaced too. I did notice that the front shocks seem to have a little play from side to side, so thay should be replaced, but could that be the problem? Everything else except the front drivers side upper ball joint looks to be original. What should I look into first, and what are the most common causes of steering problems in these grand cherokees? Best one will get the 10 points. Thanks for looking. Yeah, I reported that jiffy lube Dusche to Yahoo. You are exactly right, If he knew anything about jeeps, he would know that it is a straight rear axle with the only "cv" joints or correction-universal joints located at the front axle and the front and rear drive shafts. And by the way, chrysler vehicles (after about 100K especially the Neon) are known for the flexible brake lines collapsing together when the brake pedal is depressed and let off causing the brakes to hang and thus making the abs light activate, because of the difference in wheel speed. This dumb a** is just a waste of space and needs to be taken off of Yahoo Answers! What a stupid sh!t.
How would you feel if a robot could....? Running Robot Breaks Speed Records (Now All It Needs Is a Head) With lots of blood, sweat and tears, the lovely MABEL-a bipedal robot with knees- has just broken the fastest running record for running 6.8 miles per hour. MABEL was originally built by a Mr. Jessy Grizzle and Mr. Jonathan Hurst. With lots of doctoral student help on to making MABEL to balance nicely when on rougher terrain. With that, MABEL is designed almost like a human. MABEL has a heavy torso, but has “light, flexible legs with springs that act like tendons” explained Grizzle. To add with that, Hurst says “We envision some extraordinary potential applications for legged robot research: exoskeletons that enable wheelchair-bound people to walk again or that give rescuers super-human abilities, and powered prosthetic limbs that behave like their biological counterparts.” MABEL could even be a robot rescuer though Grizzle said “If you would to send robots to search for people when a house is on fire, it probably needs to be able to go up and down stairs, step over toys on the floor, and maneuver in an environment where wheels and tracks may not be appropriate” But maybe with a little more work, she might actually be able to. Hi!! I'm Curious what you might think! This IS for a paper!
Question about becoming a choreographer? I'm fifteen, and I've been dancing since I was three. I'm incredibly passionate about dance - I did ballet from when I was three until I was twelve. I stopped for a couple of years, and am starting it again this school year. I started doing contemporary and jazz when I was thirteen. However, looking at my body and how it's changed, I don't know (okay, I know) that I don't have the body to become the dancer that I want to be.. My measurements are 38 - 30 - 39, which is massive. I'm 5'5", and very muscular (it comes from track and field for four years). I weigh about 155 pounds. I'm not light. I am, however, decently flexible. It's so discouraging to look at skinnier dancers doing the same moves as I do - because even if I do it with the same effort as they do, they always, always look better. It makes me so sad. Because of this, I've considered looking into a career in choreography - but I don't know how to get there. I'm looking at colleges (as it'll be my turn to apply in a matter of years) but I don't know where to start. How do I start working my way towards becoming a contemporary/jazz choreographer?
Why does my leg hurt? I had gymnastics on Wednesday night and i was tired the next morning. On Thrusday at lunch I had track tryouts, and i was running quite a bit. Then for 1 hr gym we did track, and I was running again alot for that. The next morning (Friday) I was sore, but I thought it was okay so I went to track practise, but it was indoors so we did workouts and stuff like that. then i had track for gym again for an hour, and we did more running that the previous day. THEN i had gymnastics again on friday and we did alot of running activities, but I was already VERY tired and i was sore from gym and track. I started in pain, but then the pain went away and so did the tiredness, so i went on doing my normal activites the way i would normally do them. Then on Saturday morning i was SOOO sore, but for some reason i still wanted to practise sprinting and a bit of gymnastics (back walkovers and kartwheels/roundoffs). Again, i started sore but then the pain went away. LAter in the day, the soreness came back, but it was light so I went to a 200m track and sprinted 100m, then walked and repeated this at least 5 times. I didnt stretch after, and when I went to bed, i had to get up to go to the washroom, and my legs were in sooo much pain!!!! it hurt everywhere to walk. I went back to bed, and this morning the soreness was much less, and as the day went on it almost completely went away. This whole time i was feeling sore in my glutes, thighs, and back of my knee area. but know I only feel it in the back of my leg thigh, where the muscle part is, but it hurts ALOT when i try to reach for my toes! it doesnt hurt atall when im putting wheight on it or anything, just when i reach for my toes. im pretty althletic so im used to being in pain sometimes, but not like this. does anyone know whats wrong with my leg?? should i try to stretch out my leg, so wait for it to go away by itself? would it be okay if i went running again later today? ps. i have track practise again tomorrow after school, and it going to be more intense than on thursday and friday. should i go? and i want my leg to get better by then. pps. im also very flexible, and I can improve my flexibility very easily, if that helps

Losing weight for someone extremely out of shape? When I was little I was flexible, thin, and in pretty good shape. Over the years I have become extremely lazy and I quit my ballet/tap and swimming "because it wasn't fun." Now my BMI is in the high 20's and I can't run half a lap on the track field without feeling exhausted beyond belief. I have looked at myself in the mirror and finally said to myself "stop treating yourself like this. You need to lose weight and be healthier." The problem is...I don't know where to start. I'm so out of shape the only thing I can really do is walking. Any advice or exercise guidelines for me? My goal weight is to be 30 lbs lighter than my current weight. Anyway thank you guys so much ta-ta for now :)
p90x help, any fitness people out there too? i am 16 years old, 5ft 6 inch, and 140 lbs. i am a stocky guy, i am not fat i play sports and i am very active. i would really like to be thinner, not so thick, i want to be more flexible, and fast. my 100 meter time was a 12.64 not too fast, but i do NOT run long distance well. i have started doing the ab ripper x for p90x, and plyometrics (jump tranining) these are the only 2 disc i have. i try to hit them every day, day 1 ab ripper, day 2 plyo's, day 3 ab ripper, etc. i really want to be lighter, i do have thick legs i would like to be more lean and toned. i also do the long jump in track also. should i try running long distance more,? will p90x plyo's and ab ripper get me to where i want to be as a more toned, not so thick person?
Electrial wire question - older home? I have a ceiling electrical box in a bedroom in a home built in the late 20's. I went to install a new ceiling fan and lost track of how the wires are connected. The box is wired to a single pole switch to switch the power on and off. The wires have cloth insulation with a flexible metal covering (that is grounded). Two sets of wires come together in the box. One set has a black, white, and red wire. The other set has a black and white wire. The box supplies switched power to the ceiling light and unswitched to a wall outlet. Need to know how to connect the five wires. Thanks Dave
am I too fat to be a dancer or something ...? I'm 5'6, and around 120-125. it's pretty heavy. I've been dancing for four years, and am currently taking jazz, tap, ballet and pointe. I've been on pointe for sixth months, and I'm on my second pair of shoes. I was looking up things about average weights and requirements for pointe dancers. it said you have to be thin. light. an example was.. 5'8 and 105-120 pounds. that's like saying someone who's my height should be.. 95-110. I'm not that skinny. there's places out there that make the dancer become underweight . and a lot professional places want their dances to be really thin as well. I'm flexible. I think my feet & ankles are pretty strong.. cause I took ballet for one year, stopped for one year, then did it for four months and got on pointe. and the shank on my first pair of pointe shoes can bend in half. so I think my feeet are pretty strong.. but.. Idunno. I can leap pretty high too. clear my pointe shoes on every jump. my leaps are fully extended . stuff like that. my legs are pretty strong as well. I run track as well, I'mma long jumper. (not the season atm thoughh) but do I .. like.. not have the body to be a dancer or something ? should I try losing weight? cause in all honesty, I eat whatever I want to. I'm not afraid to eat a crap load in one day. I do stay pretty healthy, I dance all the time, I run on my tredmill, I go for walks. but I eat... everything. and it's because.. I kinda used to .. not.. do that? Idk it's hard to explain. kinda self conscious, confused. :/ someone explain ? heh. I'm 14. ..
LED diffuser details? So I am making a costume peice that has LEDs in tracks down the back. I want to be able to diffuse the light to make the illumination along the tracks steady instead of in beams that are characteristic of LEDs alone. I was looking at frosted plastics, and I would prefer if they were flexible. Any suggestions?
any suggestions on training for volleyball gymnastics and track? im 13 years old and im going to be in 8th grade. its june here and school starts back up in the middle of august. this summer i've decided i wanted to join volleyball, gymnastics and track for my 8th grade year. i've never really been an athletic person. the only sport i joined for my 7th grade year was volleyball and i was on the B-team which was the not so good team. i dont exactly know how to train for these three "sports". so i've decided to do 80 (girl push ups) a day and 200 sit ups a day. and then stretch for gymnastics. and then push the numbers higher later on. volleyball is the first sport of the year. august to october i think. to be on the a-team you have to be able to over-hand serve which i can't do cause of timing most of the time. but when i practice at home against the outside of my house i can do it? anyways what can i do to train for volleyball? for gymnastics im pretty flexible already. so im doing the push ups for the and the sit ups and stretching but what else should i do? and for track i've never really been a good runner. but i still want to run and become better. i dont know if swimming would help with tthat cause im going to take swimming lessons for the rest of the month. plus i have a slight type of asthma and get light headed after awhile. and where can i practice running cause i dont want my family to think im weird or something haha. and im also a vegetarian. 3 years in july. so i dont know what to eat to stay healthy. anyways i need a type of training for volleyball? gymnastics? and track? i would appreciate it. volleyball: august- october gymnastics: february-march track-april-may
